UAW Creates Local At VW Plant To Stay Relevant

Law360, New York (July 10, 2014, 7:37 PM EDT) -- The United Auto Workers pledged Thursday to form a voluntary local chapter for Volkswagen AG workers in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a move that allows the UAW to continue its organizing efforts in the southern U.S. even as it recovers from a lost election among VW workers earlier this year, experts say.
