Law360, New York (August 14, 2014, 5:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Wednesday centralized in the Southern District of New York 18 investor suits accusing Deutsche Bank AG, Barclays Bank PLC and other financial institutions of plotting to manipulate gold prices.
The JPML's order brings together the 18 cases, all but one of which already are pending in the Southern District of New York, before U.S. District Judge Valerie E. Caproni. The panel also said it is aware of nine other federal court cases that could potentially become tag-along actions, according to the order.
