Judge Nixes Abbott's Patent Defense In Norvir Case

Law360 (May 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge knocked out a major part of Abbott Laboratories' defense against an antitrust suit related to its HIV treatment Norvir, ruling Friday that claims in two of Abbott's patents for a method of combining Norvir with other protease inhibitors are invalid.
