9th Circuit Revives Title Insurer's Copyright Suit

Law360 (May 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Vacating a lower court's summary judgment, an appeals court said Monday that real estate service company Stewart Title of California Inc. could proceed with its lawsuit against Fidelity National Title Co. for allegedly infringing copyrights of escrow and title forms.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit sent the case back to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California for further proceedings and discovery on multiple claims.
