Whistleblowers Get $15M From $75M Medtronic Deal

Law360, New York (May 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Two former employees who lodged a 2005 qui tam complaint against Kyphon Inc., which was since bought by Medtronic Inc., are in line to collect $14.9 million of a $75 million settlement in a suit that alleged Kyphon caused the submission of false or fraudulent claims to Medicare.
