Media Giants Battle Over Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (May 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Clear Channel Communications Inc. has sued a former vice president of its online business for allegedly misappropriating trade secrets when he left to join the Tribune Co.

The suit, filed May 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, accuses the former executive, Andrew Friedman, of breaching his employment agreement with Clear Channel, of breaching his fiduciary duty to the company and of threatening to disclose trade secrets.
