By Kaitlin Ugolik ( September 8, 2014, 1:45 PM EDT) -- Celebrity New York City broker Fredrik Eklund has closed on a deal for clients to sell a development site on the Lower East Side for $28 million, according to a post on Eklund's Instagram account. The price for the nearly 40-unit development comes out to $700 per buildable square foot, which is reportedly a record for the neighborhood. Eklund said he had been working on the development for more than a year as the builders perfected the layout and design, noting that his team at Douglas Elliman is having a "record week."...
