VW, Bentley Get Claims Pared In Car Safety Patent Row

Law360, New York (September 23, 2014, 2:36 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge has tossed willful infringement claims in a suit alleging Volkswagen Group of America Inc. and Bentley Motors Inc. ripped off Signal IP’s car safety technology, saying the automakers didn’t know about the safety patents before the suit was filed.
