Chase Agrees To $12M Settlement In Teller OT Suit

Law360, San Diego (October 9, 2014, 4:01 PM EDT) -- JPMorgan Chase Bank NA will pay up to $12 million to settle a putative class action alleging its tellers and other bank employees in 12 states worked off the clock, the plaintiffs told a California federal judge on Wednesday.

About 145,000 current and former Chase tellers, bankers, assistant branch manager trainees and sales specialists will be eligible for the settlement, the plaintiffs said in their motion for preliminary approval of the settlement.
