High Court Won't Hear Appeal In AT&T ERISA Case

Law360, New York (June 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An AT&T Corp. pension plan facing a multimillion-dollar judgment in a class action over reductions in employee pensions won't be taking its case before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The nation's highest court denied certiorari to the pension plan on Monday, more than eight months after asking the U.S. solicitor general to consider whether the case was worthy of a hearing.
