D.C. Circ. Orders Blue Man Group To Negotiating Table

Law360, New York (June 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Blue Man Group will have to update its repertoire of paint-splattered drumming and mass marshmallow consumption to include union negotiations, a federal appeals court has ruled.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit rejected an appeal by the blue-faced performance art troupe's Las Vegas show.

The appeal sought to overturn a 2006 ruling by the National Labor Relations Board that said Blue Man Vegas officials must negotiate with a newly formed bargaining unit for its stage crew.
