Suit Says Motorola Stole Wireless Video Patent

Law360, New York (June 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Wisconsin wireless broadband company has sued Motorola Inc., accusing the mobile phone company of scheming to steal a pioneering technology that allows real-time video to be transferred over wireless.

According to the complaint, filed on June 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Motorola “through a scheme of lies, broken promises of a future working relationship and outright deceit,” stole Memorylink Corp.'s technology.
