Calif. Court Says Email Ads Didn't Violate Anti-Spam Laws

Law360, New York (October 30, 2014, 4:05 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court on Wednesday affirmed the dismissal of a proposed class action accusing a marketing company of concealing its identity and misrepresenting certain offers through emails purporting to be from companies like Proactiv and Wen Hair Care, finding that the emails weren't likely to fool recipients.
