Ex-Judge Leaves Greenberg Traurig For Otterbourg

Law360, New York (June 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former bankruptcy judge Melanie Cyganowski has left Greenberg Traurig LLP after just over a year to join the creditors' rights and insolvency practice group at Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen PC.

Cyganowski, who joined Otterbourg in New York on Monday, served for 14 years as a judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

She returned to private practice last March and joined Greenberg Traurig, but decided to leave the large full-service firm for the more focused bankruptcy practice of Otterbourg....
