Con Ed Supplier Trumps Rival In Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (June 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Energy products supplier Richards Manufacturing Co. got what remained of a case concerning high-voltage underground electrical connector trade secrets tossed, with a judge ruling that rival Thomas & Betts Corp. failed to support its numerous misappropriation claims with sufficient evidence.

Judge Stanley R. Chesler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey on Tuesday granted Richards Manufacturing's motion for partial summary judgment on the claims left against it after an April 2007 summary judgment wiped away many of T&B's earlier claims.
