By Aebra Coe (November 19, 2014, 11:37 AM EST) -- Gucci America Inc. is the latest high-fashion retailer to be accused of not paying its interns for work that does not qualify as education or training, according to a proposed class action filed Tuesday in New York state court.

Lead plaintiff Lindsey Huggins said she and all other unpaid interns who worked for Gucci in New York over the past six years were improperly classified as minimum wage-exempt employees.
