Chinese Steel Pipe Imports Harm U.S. Industry: ITC

Law360 (June 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a victory for domestic steel pipe manufacturers, the International Trade Commission ruled Friday that the U.S. industry is being materially injured by imports of circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from China.

The ruling by a five-member panel of the ITC cleared the way for the U.S. Department of Commerce to issue countervailing duty and anti-dumping duty orders on imports of the product from China.
