Body Armor Co. Settles Securities Suits For $35M

Law360, New York (June 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has approved a $34.9 million settlement reached with body armor company Point Blank Solutions Inc. in a securities class action as well as related shareholder derivative action.

Judge Joanna Seybert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York approved the settlement with Point Blank Solutions, formerly DHB Industries Inc., on Wednesday. The class of plaintiffs includes all those who bought or acquired Point Blank shares from Nov. 18, 2003, through Nov. 30, 2006. The settlement involves a $34.9 million...
