Tyson Resolves Dispute Over Antibiotic-Free Claims

Law360, New York (June 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tyson Foods Inc. has settled with two competitors that accused it of deceptive advertising, but the company still faces consumer lawsuits over the company's claim that its chicken is not treated with antibiotics.

According to documents filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Tyson and plaintiffs Sanderson Farms Inc. and Perdue Farms Inc. have agreed to dismiss all claims with prejudice. The parties will bear their own costs and attorneys' fees.
