National Geographic Pulls Out Win In Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (June 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Weighing in on a freelance photographer’s long-running copyright battle against National Geographic Society for the third time, a federal appeals court has determined that the publisher did not violate infringement laws by using the photographs in a digital compilation without permission.
