Texas Tech Company Sues Over Rights To LED Patent

Law360, New York (April 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Texas technology company has sued a former employee over rights to a patent for circuitry LEDs used in wireless telecommunications.

On Friday, Micrin Technology Corporation filed a federal lawsuit against Leonard Sadjadi, who Micrin had formerly employed as an independent contractor.

Micrin’s complaint alleges fraud, breach of agreements, deception and theft of Micrin’s intellectual property by Sadjadi and his company, L.S. Unico Inc., which is also named as a defendant.
