Worker Pleads Guilty In Morgan Stanley Theft Case

Law360, New York (July 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Morgan Stanley & Co. employee has pled guilty to a charge involving the theft of the broker's hedge fund client lists and rate formulas.

Ronald Peteka faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine after pleading guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday to one count of interstate transportation of stolen property. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 8.
