Amid Squabble, Adelphia Receives New Timeline

Law360, New York (April 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As cable company Adelphia Communications Corp. attempts to defuse a dispute between two groups of creditors, a bankruptcy judge has set up a new timeline for the company’s Chapter 11 case.

Judge Robert E. Gerber of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan has split the confirmation hearing into two parts and mapped out a timetable for discovery.

Bank lender fee and indemnification claims are scheduled to be estimated on May 15. A hearing set for June 20 will deal with any additional matters.
