LCD Trade Secret Thief Gets Four-Year Jail Term

Law360, New York (April 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former employee of Corning Inc. who found secret documents in a garbage bin and sold them to Taiwanese PicVue Electronics Ltd. was sentenced yesterday to four years in federal prison.

In addition to jail time, Jonathan C. Sanders will pay a $20,000 fine plus a $100 “special assessment,” and spend three years on supervised release after his release.

Sanders will surrender to U.S. marshals and begin serving his sentence in one month.
