Walgreens Customer Wants Supplement Suits Consolidated

Law360, New York (February 13, 2015, 3:27 PM EST) -- A consumer suing Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. over allegedly mislabeled herbal supplements is seeking to have the 10 consumer class actions already filed against the pharmacy chain consolidated as multidistrict litigation in Illinois federal court.

Plaintiff John Hollins, who filed one of the first lawsuits against Walgreens after the New York attorney general's investigation into herbal supplements, filed a motion Thursday with the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation requesting the lawsuits be transferred to the Northern District of Illinois.
