Bikram Yoga Guru To Face Majority Of Claims In Rape Case

Law360, Los Angeles (February 13, 2015, 7:29 PM EST) -- A California judge on Friday tentatively rejected Bikram Yoga founder Bikram Choudhury’s bid to escape a yoga teacher’s sexual assault case — one of several against Choudhury — alleging he raped her at a training seminar, ruling the teacher’s post-assault depression tolled the statute of limitations and keeping most of her claims intact.

At Friday’s hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Rolf M.
