Adelphia Not Liable For $44.7M Claim: Judge

Law360, New York (July 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adelphia Communications Corp. is not liable to Lucent Technologies Inc. for a $44.7 million debt allegedly incurred by a now-defunct cell phone business in which Adelphia was once a partner, a bankruptcy judge has ruled.

Judge Cecilia G.
