Lehman Bros. Fights Sentinel Trustee Over Claims

Law360 (July 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Investment bank Lehman Brothers Inc. is battling a bid by the U.S. trustee overseeing Sentinel Management Group Inc.'s bankruptcy case to value its disputed $14 million in claims at a nominal $1.

The bank filed an objection Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois to U.S. Trustee Frederick Grede's bid to estimate the claims against Sentinel for purposes of voting on the bankrupt cash-management firm's proposed liquidation plan.
