Only 3 Months After Filing, IES Emerges From Chapter 11

Law360, New York (April 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Integrated Electrical Services Inc. has emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, less than three months after the Texas-based electrical contractor went belly-up.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Barbara J. Houser handed down a ruling confirming the reorganization on Tuesday morning, effectively ending IES’ brief stint in bankruptcy court.

The effective date of the ruling is ten days from now, according to George F. McElreath, the Assistant U.S. Trustee for the Northern District of Texas.
