N.Y. Times, Photographer Settle Copyright Case

Law360, New York (July 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former New York Times freelance photographer has settled a dispute over damages in a copyright case he filed accusing the newspaper of using his photographs online without permission.

Thomas Dallal reached a settlement with the Times in a retrial scheduled to begin Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on statutory damages issued in the case.
