Judge Certifies Limited Purchaser Class In GPU Case

Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The judge overseeing the antitrust multidistrict litigation against graphics processing unit makers Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has denied requests to certify an indirect purchaser and large direct purchase class in the case, instead opting to certify a smaller class of purchasers who bought GPU cards directly from the defendants’ Web sites.
