Clear Channel, Tribune Settle Trade Secrets Dispute

Law360, New York (July 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Clear Channel Communications Inc. has dropped a lawsuit that accused a former vice president of its online business of misappropriating trade secrets when he left to join the Tribune Co.

No money was exchanged between the two companies, and each party will bear its own costs and fees. However, Tribune did agree not to further solicit or hire Clear Channel employees who are subject to contracts, according to the radio broadcaster.
