Delta Asks Court To Reject Lease Agreements

Law360, New York (May 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Citing high fees and too much space, Delta Airlines has asked a bankruptcy court to allow it to reject several lease agreements between the carrier and the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati International Airport.

Delta said in a court filing that the prices the airline is paying to lease terminals at the airport are far higher than those paid by other airlines. The carrier also said that it simply does not need all the space it is paying for.
