DOD Mismanagement Led To $1B In Excess Parts, OIG Says

Law360, Washington (April 2, 2015, 5:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. military has consistently undervalued and overstocked its inventory of spare parts since 1999, leaving $1 billion of unneeded inventory, according to a Tuesday audit from the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Inspector General.
