Dish Network Liable For All 22 Calls In TCPA Row, Jury Finds

Law360, New York (April 2, 2015, 8:20 PM EDT) -- An Ohio federal judge on Thursday awarded $12,000 to a person who accused Dish Network LLC of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by placing 22 automated calls to a cellphone without proper authorization, after a jury found Dish liable for all of the disputed calls.
