Ex-Bush Flack Says TPG Smeared Him For Blowing Whistle

Law360, New York (April 2, 2015, 5:36 PM EDT) -- Former George W. Bush and Goldman Sachs & Co. public affairs officer Adam Levine hit TPG Capital Inc. with a defamation and wrongful termination suit in California federal court Thursday, claiming the private equity giant smeared his reputation after he reported what he calls violations of securities laws to top management.

The complaint in San Francisco’s district court says Levine, as managing director of TPG's public affairs department, got good performance reviews from the time he was hired in 2007, but was fired late last year...
