Disney Can't Nix 'Frozen' Trailer Copyright Suit

Law360, San Francisco (April 9, 2015, 5:58 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge said Thursday that he'll likely put a copyright lawsuit against the Walt Disney Co. over a trailer for the smash hit "Frozen" to a jury, saying he can't rule as a matter of law that Disney didn't have access to the animated short it allegedly copied.
