Discovery Limited In Marsh Securities Case

Law360, New York (July 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has affirmed a special master's order directing the lead plaintiffs in the Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. securities litigation to turn over documents related to 17 confidential witnesses. But the judge has also limited the scope of discovery in order to avoid a “fishing expedition.”
