Subcontractor Sued For $9M Over Delayed Military Base Work

Law360, Washington (April 20, 2015, 8:06 PM EDT) -- Government contractor JAAAT Technical Service LLC sued its subcontractor in Virginia federal court Friday for failing to meet deadlines on five separate military base contracts, claiming JAAAT has incurred more than $9 million in damages from the shoddy work.

 

JAAAT alleges that Tetra Tech Tesoro Inc. was the project manager for five projects on three U.S. Army bases in North Carolina and Georgia and was to perform the majority of the work, but that Tesoro failed to finish by the deadline established in each agreement....
