IndyMac Honchos Face More Legal Woes With Suit

Law360, New York (August 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A securities class action with a longer proposed class period than similar actions was filed against the leaders of IndyMac Bancorp Inc. on Friday, a day after the mortgage lender filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection.

Berger & Montague PC said Friday that it filed a class action for all who bought common and preferred stock of IndyMac between April 26, 2007, and May 12, 2008. Other lawsuits filed in relation to the lender's collapse have proposed the class period begin on Aug. 16, 2007....
