Wal-Mart, Top Retailers Largely Skim 2014's FLSA Wave

Law360, Boston (May 2, 2015, 3:05 PM EDT) -- Behemoth retailers such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Target Corp. and Kroger Co. were only named in a handful of the nearly 8,000 Fair Labor Standards Act suits filed in federal courts in 2014 despite having hundreds of thousands of employees, a development employment experts attribute to aggressive efforts to keep pay practices in line.
