Okla. Tribal Biz Off The Hook In $3M Gov't Contract Row
By Caroline Simson (May 8, 2015, 2:59 PM EDT) -- A federal judge tossed a $3 million suit filed by Team Systems International LLC against the Fort Sill Apache Tribe chairman and a tribal business organization over an allegedly breached contingency agreement involving two government contracts, ruling Thursday that the complaint lacked sufficient facts.
Though U.S. District Judge Timothy D. DeGiusti concluded that the court did have jurisdiction to consider TSI's claims against Fort Sill Apache Tribe Chairman Jeff Haozous and Fort Sill Apache Industries due to a sovereign immunity waiver contained in FSAI's contract with TSI, he found that the complaint didn't include sufficient allegations to pin the allegedly wrongful...
