Law360, Los Angeles (May 11, 2015, 7:39 PM EDT) -- Mayer Brown LLP represented Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association – College Retirement Equities Fund in its purchase of an apartment rental property in Brooklyn, New York, for $169 million from a Sills Cummis & Gross PC-counseled joint venture between LCOR Inc. and the California State Teachers Retirement System, according to a deed filed in New York on Monday.

TIAA-CREF bought the six-story 250 N. 10th St. in Williamsburg, a 185,000-square-foot property that has 234 units and a 117-space parking garage.
