Merrill Switches Lawyers In Discrimination Suit

Law360 (August 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. has switched counsel in its defense against the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission's allegations that the investment bank discriminated against a worker, eventually firing him because he is an Iranian Muslim.

According to a notice filed Thursday, the law firm of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP was substituted as counsel of record for the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in the 13-month-old case, which, according to court documents, could go before a jury late this year or...
