Krispy Kreme Proposes Settlement In Class Action Suit

Law360, New York (May 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Co. said on Monday that it had reached a proposed settlement of the class action suit recently filed over the management of its retirement savings and profit-sharing stock ownership plans.

The suit was filed in March 2005 in the U.S. District court for the Middle District of North Carolina by a class comprised of parties that invested in Krispy Kreme Retirement Savings Plan and/or the Krispy Kreme Profit Sharing Stock Ownership Plan from 2003 to the present.
