Defective Suzuki Motorcycle Can Split In Half: Suit

Law360, New York (August 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A model of motorcycle made by Suzuki Motor Corp. has a manufacturing defect that can cause the frame to split in two while the vehicle is in motion, a proposed class action lawsuit alleges.

The suit was filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on behalf of Suzuki owner Kirk David. It seeks to represent a class of all those who purchased Suzuki GSX R-1000 motorcycles from model years 2005 and 2006.
