Dollar Store Chain Accused Of Extorting Shoplifters

Law360, New York (June 1, 2015, 4:23 PM EDT) -- A dollar store chain was slammed with a proposed class action in California state court accusing the retailer of extorting money from customers accused of shoplifting by sending them illegal dunning letters from a law firm.
