Judge Tosses Claims Against Banks In Refco Suit

Law360, New York (August 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge has once again tossed complaints by the shareholders of now-defunct futures brokerage Refco Inc. against three of the world's largest investment banks, marking the second time that the plaintiffs in the case have been denied.

In a ruling handed down on Aug. 14, Judge Gerard E.
