9th Circ. Tosses Centerprise DRAM Suit

Law360, New York (August 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Upholding a district court's ruling, a federal appeals court has refused to allow British computer manufacturer Centerprise International Ltd. to proceed with a lawsuit against nearly two dozen memory chip manufacturers for alleged violation of federal antitrust laws.

In a ruling handed down on Thursday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed the earlier ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that dismissed Centerprise's original complaint for lack of subject matter jurisdiction under the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvement...
