Campbell Soup Hit With '100% Natural' GMO Suit For Prego

Law360, New York (June 9, 2015, 4:14 PM EDT) -- Labels on Campbell Soup Co.’s Prego brand pasta sauces are false and misleading because they describe the products as being “100% Natural” when they contain genetically modified canola oil, according to an amended class action complaint filed in California federal court on Monday.

After originally suing in California court in September, Sandahl Nelson said in a federal complaint that Campbell’s labels violated state law and claimed it was impossible to tell from the list of the sauces’ ingredients that they contained GMOs.
